Hosted by CEDC and Momentum West, this engaging session, presented by the Wisconsin Economic Development Association (WEDA), is designed for economic development stakeholders—including local elected officials, board members, and community leaders—who want to strengthen their understanding of economic development. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of the principles, strategies, and challenges that shape local economic growth. While this is not practitioner training, the session equips leaders to collaborate more effectively, champion economic development efforts, and make more informed decisions for their communities.
