Momentum West and the Talent Attraction Steering Committee will present the results of their work to the community for feedback and as a call to action to step up the region's workforce retention and attraction efforts. Over the past six months, Momentum West has been developing a ten-county Talent Attraction and Retention Plan focused on meeting the needs of employers in the region. The plan pinpoints the key challenges facing the Momentum West region and identifies initiatives to meet those challenges.

Momentum West engaged the Center for Regional Economic Competitiveness (CREC) and the Institute for Decision Making (IDM) as experts to facilitate the planning process.  CREC is an independent nonprofit with a goal of helping regions compete economically.  Since its founding in 2000, CREC has sought to organize and support innovative state and local approaches to job creation and regional economic growth.
