Future growth in the region, counties and municipalities of the Momentum West region rely on multiple factors, the least of which is available industrial land. In September we will be offering a one day seminar to show property owners what they need to do to prepare land for industrial development. This event is aimed and city clerks, administrators, economic development staff from the 10 county region and private property owners. The event date is September 26th at Bill's Distributing in Menomonie.

Topics covered will be:
•  A regional overview of known industrial sites, what sites are ready for development or not and the economic impact.
•  What the site consultant looks for including the consultant process and what information should a property owner have ready.
•  Site Development steps with a focus on State Certified sites and Momentum West Gold Shovel, wetlands and wetland delineations and power.
•  A financial overview with emphasis on TIF and other funding mechanisms.
•  A vendor fair of regional resources/organizations.
